Book Review: Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan

I LOVED this book. I gave it 5/5 stars. The cover was gorgeous and I loved the book from beginning to end. This was a great read, especially for the month of December. The setting takes place in NYC. The main characters are, of course, Dash and Lily. I think that these two characters are quite adorable. People make false assumptions of them on their many “misadventures.” I really enjoyed the idea of Lily leaving the red moleskin notebook at her favorite bookstore. Then, Dash runs across it and they converse through the passing the notebook back and forth without meeting each other, at first. It is an extremely cute idea. The imagery was vivid and was perfect for the winter season, in my opinion. It reminded me of when I was in NYC during December one year. I loved how the characters had a love of books. This was a great book and I plan to purchase it quite soon. This is definitely a re-read for me in the future.
