Book Review: The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

This book…oh my gosh. It is beyond words. This book was an incredible read. The Fault In Our Stars was the first novel by John Green that I had the pleasure of reading. It was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately circumstances would not allow me to sit and complete this novel from cover to cover; however, I desperately wanted to…it’s just that amazing. I had stopped on page 188 last night and woke up this morning and had finished it. I hadn’t even been looking to see how much I had left; I just kept flipping pages and reading until I was at the end. WARNING: this book will most likely make you cry. This review I am keeping spoiler free because I don’t want to ruin it for people who haven’t read it yet. But, I will say this: books do not usually make me cry. Sometimes I get teary-eyed but this book actually made me cry. John Green did a wonderful job at captivating his readers with this novel. Also, I love the detail he added and the beautiful, vivid imagery. His character development was good, the pace was great, I absolutely love his writing style. Bonus, the cover art is fantastic. John Green has left a good impression on me and I am looking forward to reading more of his amazing work. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars, hands down!
