This book…oh my gosh. It is
beyond words. This book was an incredible read. The Fault In Our Stars was the
first novel by John Green that I had the pleasure of reading. It was a
wonderful experience. Unfortunately circumstances would not allow me to sit and
complete this novel from cover to cover; however, I desperately wanted to…it’s
just that amazing. I had stopped on page 188 last night and woke up this
morning and had finished it. I hadn’t even been looking to see how much I had
left; I just kept flipping pages and reading until I was at the end. WARNING:
this book will most likely make you cry. This review I am keeping spoiler free
because I don’t want to ruin it for people who haven’t read it yet. But, I will
say this: books do not usually make me cry. Sometimes I get teary-eyed but this
book actually made me cry. John Green did a wonderful job at captivating his
readers with this novel. Also, I love the detail he added and the beautiful,
vivid imagery. His character development was good, the pace was great, I
absolutely love his writing style. Bonus, the cover art is fantastic. John
Green has left a good impression on me and I am looking forward to reading more
of his amazing work. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars, hands down!
